I am focusing on the photography of William Eggleston for post-modernism. So what is the difference between Modernism and Postmodernism? Modernism emphasises on rationality, technical progress and the power of sciences, for example landscape photographer, Ansel Adams. Modernism photography sticks to the ‘rules’ and postmodernism rejects the ‘rules’. So this week I was going to concentrate on replicating a still life by Edward Weston for another take on Modernism. I purchased some peppers from my local markets which has some different tones in the skin. Unfortunately I chose bright red peppers with green stalks.
