I am focusing on the photography of William Eggleston for post-modernism. So what is the difference between Modernism and Postmodernism? Modernism emphasises on rationality, technical progress and the power of sciences, for example landscape photographer, Ansel Adams. Modernism photography sticks to the ‘rules’ and postmodernism rejects the ‘rules’. Modern photography is filled with warmth and passion, while post-modern photography is said to be dispassionate and cold.
