So this week I was going to concentrate on replicating a still life by Edward Weston for another take on Modernism. I purchased some peppers from my local markets which has some different tones in the skin. Unfortunately I chose bright red peppers with green stalks. After photographing them it dawned on me that red and green are not the monochromatic photographer’s best friend. This process is about experimentation and with all experimental processes there are failures. This experiment is an epic fail but I am going to document the process anyway. On the upside I can see body parts/shapes in the peppers I photographed.
